The Catalan Cricket Federation recommends that all cricket clubs in Catalonia suspend all group training and matches, and that all players scrupulously follow the instructions of the health and government authorities.
The Federation has notified this Friday addressed to all clubs and officials in which it recalls that it has agreed to suspend for an initial period of two weeks all matches in official competitions at the national level and has recommended the same type of measure for all competitions organized by various organizations and clubs.
“From the FCC we understand that, at this time, the priority is the protection of the players, the officials, the referees and the families of all persons related to the federation, we strongly recommend that all clubs also suspend all the collective training of all their teams as long as there are no official competitions. “
Also asks the clubs to “in a complementary way, follow all the indications that are being given by the respective health authorities, especially the actions of isolation and stay in the respective homes with minimal mobility”.
“We understand that collective training does not proceed and we recommend that each club develop an individualized training plan for its players,” concludes the Circular.
For the same reason, Federació together with Dream 11 and Cricket Spain have decided to postpone the ECS (European Cricket Series) until the next government indication.
